Hi everyone,
Sorry I've not been in touch lately so many things to sniff and scratch. I've been on holiday to the Lake District with my humans and had a great time eating sheep poo and walking round the lakes. That's one of my humans in the picture above, he loves me and he'll do anything I say.
It was my birthday on 17th May as well and I had ice cream and half a fish finger as a treat.
My new trick is grabbing the artificial lilies out of the pond and running off with them, much to the dismay of my humans who can't catch me as I'm sooooo fast now.
I heard rumours it's a bath for me tonight and I'm scratching my head as to how I can avoid it. I don't know why they don't like the smells I like.
Feeling a bit tired now after my lunch so I'm going for a nap, bye xxx Trav xxx

Hi everyone,
I'm back, I haven't had a lot to report lately but I've now become a member of a little group of dogs who meet every morning on the field near my house so I'm keeping up on the local gossip.
One of my new friends "Missy" (a fiery little Jack Russell Bitch) has been showing me how to dig out moles. I haven't actually caught one yet but I'm joining in to show willing. I get to go off lead and investigate on the field as long as there are no big dogs around and I've got my eye on another new friend called Katy (a cute, curly coated black poodle) but she's playing hard to get at the moment unfortunately.

Hi everyone,
how are you? I'm fine and I've just found out that I'm not being castrated so I think that's a bonus in anyone's book.
My coat has grown and now I'm like a cuddly lamb and I look a lot cuter than I did. I have learned to stay in the car on my own while she nips into Tescos and sit quietly in the front seat. This week-end we went along the Wirral way and it was a lovely walk and I met two Bichon frise bitches. My mum was a Bichon you know.
Just going out for a walk now so see you later.

Catch Up

Hi everyone,
I know I've been lazy but to be honest there's not a lot to report in my life at the moment. Talking of lazy I was really lazy a couple of days ago and even though she put me out in the garden 3 times I weeeeed on a cushion near the back door, it was freezing out there what do you expect? Anyway she was not pleased at all and I don't think I'll risk doing that again and also she won't let me back in until she witnesses me in action now.
My fur has grown a bit now and I'm not quite so cold and she's also made me a cosy undercoat out of an old sweatshirt to keep me extra warm, she must really love me.

Hi everyone,
It's been a chilly day for me without my fur coat and I had to wear 2 coats when I went out for a walk brrrrr. I heard them saying it'll take at least 6 weeks for me to start looking cuddly and cute again.
The pic above is my first day home on Sunday 12th July last year and I was exactly 8 weeks old. Does anyone know what happened to the series Survivors? I watched it last Tuesday and this week it's the bloomin tv awards or leopards, they opted for the leopards thankfully.
I got a new toy yesterday for being good at the groomers, it looks a bit like a long hedgehog with a rope tail and a squeak inside, I love it.
Must go, nature calls, how would you like to do your business with the wind howling up your bottom? won't be long, bye for now.

JUST LOOK WHAT THEY'VE DONE TO ME!
I know I had a few knots in my fur but this is ridiculous. I'm cold now and ashamed to go out looking like this wouldn't you be? I have some worse photos than this but they're too awful and I'm afraid you won't love me any more. Is beauty only skin deep or fur long in this case?
I hope she puts something warm on me when we go out.

Hi everyone,
this is a pic of me at 8 weeks old, aren't I cute, I still have that steely stare when I'm a bit disgruntled. Today I just didn't feel like my breakfast, same old meat and kibble I'm bored with it. She cottoned on in the end when I hadn't touched it all morning and introduced a bit of cheese to liven it up and I managed to get some chocolate buttons (doggy buttons of course) for doing some tricks. I found a box of tissues carelessly left in the lounge and destroyed them and munched a few as well, I love tissues. My coat is becoming unmanageable lately and I can feel lots of knots in it, even when she combs me it doesn't get them out, I can feel a cut coming on.

Hi folks,
Did you know that today is meant to be the most depressing day in the calendar? well it is according to some-one who's worked out all the calculations. I must admit it's been quite boring apart from meeting a lively little Westie on my walk this morning. My owner's daughter has gone back to her home today so I've got no-one to play with or jump all over in the mornings. Turkey in jelly for lunch today, not too bad and then a long nap at the bottom of the stairs. I overheard my owner on the phone today booking something for me on Wednesday which involves the full works and I'll be there all day, sounds interesting, I wonder what it is, I'll let you know when I get back.

Hi there,
I know it seems a long time now since Christmas but I just thought I'd let you see what they did to me over the festive season. Due to the absence of the reindeer horns they'd promised, I had to parade around in a red bow even though I'm a boy. My owner's daughter made me a cardboard Santa hat with cotton wool pom-poms as well but I only went along with it for the turkey dinner yum! The picture above was taken after I'd eaten a whole sherry trifle.
I did eat rather a lot over Christmas but I think it's just made me more cuddly.

Trav's dog blog Thursday 14th Jan

Hi everyone,
The snow's disappearing from my garden a bit now but my little yellow patches still stand out. I had tuna for breakfast today for a change and I think I've spotted some new pouches of meaty dog food in the cupboard for later. I've been on two walks today and played a lot with my kibble container toy that has a rope inside that you have to pull and bits of kibble come out, I like that.
Another pic from my childhood for you here, soon I'll be fully grown at around 9 months and I heard my owner saying something about taking me to the vet to get "done" I'm not quite sure what that is but I'll keep you posted.

Hi Peeps,
Sorry there was no update yesterday I was too full of kibble. Fresh snow today was a blast and I pushed my nose through several drifts on my daily trek around the Wirral. Today she put 2 coats on me as if one isn't enough indignity to bear, the things I put up with for a roof over my head. I have a feeling I'll be going to the hairdressers soon because she keeps trying to brush out all my knots and sometimes I can't see my chocolate buttons properly. I don't mind it's a day out and I get to meet some local inhabitants.
Today my owner's daughter came back for a visit, I love her, she's nice to me and a real pushover when it comes to food and affection (see pic).
I'll leave you with another photo of me as a baby but don't make fun of my short legs! That's why I'm so cute.
She's shouting me for dinner got to go.

Monday 11th Jan

Hi again everyone,
Hope you all enjoyed my first snippet of life from a doggy perspective.
Today she woke me up at 6.30 and I was really not ready. She carried me downstairs as usual (I haven't managed to negotiate going down yet, only up) and plonked me in the garden in the snow with the ultimatum "do your business". Yes I will, in my own good time, and stop watching me, I'm just going to sit here for a bit until I feel the urge. Business over it's back upstairs to watch the news. What a slushy day outside, even my trouser suit didn't keep me clean when we went for our walk (see pic).
Sausages for tea tonight, she's making a sausage casserole, yum.
Just in case you're interested I thought I'd show you a few of my baby pictures, see how I've changed, I'm even more handsome now don't you think? Sorry got to go now she's throwing my favourite toy up the hallway and I can't resist, see ya!

Hi everyone, my name's Travis and I'm a dog. Not just any kind of dog though, an extremely cute one brought to you courtesy of a Shih Tzu Bichon Frise love affair in Pembrokeshire. This has ensured that I have the jaunty gait of my Shih Tzu dad and an endearing penchant for learning tricks from my mum.
My owners don't know I've started this blog so keep it amongst yourselves for now until I inevitably become so famous they're gonna have to know.
Well it's Sunday 10th Jan 2010 and I've just had a delicious meal of roast chicken from Costco, yes I am spoiled, and now I'm just chillin' lying on the floor letting it go down. I'll leave you with just one little pic of me for now just to whet your appetite.
